A Junior Master Naturalist class for students 9-13 years of age will be held at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. Programs will include geology, birds, mammals, wetlands, tree identification, compass and map reading, and other natural history topics. The class will be half-days Monday through Thursday and go a little longer on Friday. There is a $15 fee for class materials and advance registration is required. Students completing the class (plus some volunteer time) will receive a Master Naturalist patch and certificate.
